Simone Andrea Crolla graduated in 1997 with a degree in Political Science from the State University of Milan.
As of April 2009, Simone Andrea Crolla is the Managing Director of the American Chamber of Commerce in Italy (“AmCham”). Founded in 1915, AmCham is a nonprofit organization that aims to facilitate the development of economic and political relations between the United States and Italy.
Simone Andrea Crolla was Senior Vice President at Weber Shandwick-one of the world's largest public relations consultancies-for the Public Affairs practice from January 2007 to December 2015.
Since 2015, Simone Andrea Crolla has been Senior Advisor at Lincoln International, a global investment bank focused towards the mid-market sector, specializing in M&A, debt advisory, capital raising and restructuring.
Since November 2018, Simone Andrea Crolla has led the Advisory Board in Italy of the Veneranda Fabbrica del Duomo di Milano, with the task of developing fundraising strategies and supporting President Fedele Confalonieri in developing strategies to promote the Duomo di Milano; he is also a member of the Board of Directors of the American foundation (501(c)3) of the International Patrons of Duomo di Milano. Since the same year, he has served as advisor to the main shareholders of Walgreens Boots Alliance, Ing. Stefano Pessina and Dr. Ornella Barra, on issues concerning institutional relations and business development, supporting the Italian development of the Group both from an institutional and strategic point of view.
Since April 2019 he has been a member of Tesmec's Board of Directors as an independent director and is Chairman of the Remuneration and Appointments Committee.
Since January 2020 Simone Andrea Crolla has been a majority shareholder and Vice President of Synergo SGR S.p.A., an asset management company with the objective of launching two new funds: the first one of Private Equity focused on Italian companies with investment projects dedicated to the U.S. market, and the second one of Venture Capital, aimed at supporting the growth of startups and innovative SMEs.
